Supporting teen moms to be great parents and to finish high school

The Smart Start-Best Start Coordinator, through a program being piloted at Forest Hills and Monroe High Schools, helps pregnant and parenting teenagers access information about health, child development, and parenting practices so they are well equipped to be their child’s first teacher.  Teens set individualized goals for parenting, employment and most importantly, completing their high school education.  For more information, call 704-226-1407.
