Ready Schools
Making the transition to kindergarten better and easier for children – and their parents

Following the lead of the NC Ready Schools Task Force, this activity works with a team of parents, community and school leaders at several elementary schools to develop individualized action plans that support effective, quality transitions for children as they move into kindergarten classrooms.  Research tells us that children will be most successful when they are ‘ready’ for school – it follows that successful schools will be also ‘ready’ their newest students.  For more information, call the Partnership at 704-226-1407.
