Helping children ‘start smart’ with healthy teeth

Operating within the Union County Health Department, the Smart Start Smiles activity provides dental screenings and oral health education to children and pregnant women who visit any of the Health Department’s clinics.  Establishing good oral health habits early in life contributes to better overall health later in life – and a better chance to be successful in school.  For more information, call Union County Health Department at 704-296-4806.
