Inclusion Support
Supporting the classroom integration of special needs children

By providing specialized training and technical assistance to child care programs, the Inclusion Support program strives to ensure that all special needs children flourish in classrooms along with their non-challenged peers.  The program’s Smart Start Inclusion Specialist nurtures teachers, families and children through developmental screenings, individual family consultations and emotional support.  For more information, call Thompson Child & Family Focus at 704-817-1600.
